Question on Flooding.
I am wondering if a compartment in your sub is fully filled with water is it lost for good till if you are lucky limp back to port or can they still fix the damage bulkhead as long as they are allowed to do repairs?

The bulkheads can be repaired and the space dewatered. As for hull damage though, that can only be repaired in port.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. Good to hear that the compartment can be saved as long as the bulkhead can be repaired. Well once the sub out of danger from more depth charges that cause leak to begin with. Good to know.
