CC., had a question re: the CBS Mod, since 1.3, the radio still stays on while submerged. Thoughts?

I really like the "betterscopes" MOD.

With the MOD is an easy to follow instruction set on where to swap maybe 20 lines of text in the menu_1024_768.ini file. Copy paste and it's good to go. The huge compass is super easy to read and ot lights up at night as well.

Hm, my radio cuts off at about 10-15m. I thought there was no change compared to 1.2 :hmm:

I meant to release a combined "Real Scope +Pulldownmap + some other stuff" mod but so far did not yet get the go ahead from 3rd party or the time for it. As I have 2 weeks holiday coming up from next week...well, there are some stuff I have promised my self to do...so :p

Default Prob with Betterscopes 1.3

anyone help
i downloaded betterscopes 1.3 and put it in JSGME
load it and start SH4 but up comes two message windows that say
File not found data/menu/gui/layout/betterscopes_observation.tga and
File not found data/menu/gui/layout/betterscopes_attack.tga
any help would be appreciated

Default Officer's rank & Lower Officer's rank

I loaded Officer"s rank MOD, them activated it in MOD Enabler.

It does not show on Officer's rank on collar.

what am I doing wrong.

Did you double check that the next folder down in the mod is called "Data"?
It could be that when its unpacked it creates a double folder called the same as the mod. If you have a folder with the same name as the mod one folder down then it wont work.

Cap't,

Two questions:

1) What is the status of the Muzzle Flash mod? The link goes to a thread that looks like WIP, with 1.0 and 1.1 "test" versions. Is 1.1 good to go?

2) Could you do a version of All Medals w/o the new crew pics? I happen to like the old ones.

Captain Cox is busy with RL stuff, give the link I posted a go, if it does not work, just uninstall it.

Default NEEEEED

I can't beleive no one has mentioned the nomograph yet. Maybe it works for you guys still; but not me and I want it back so bad. Any suggestions? (Also the chrom that came with the original chrom, nomograph, and better scopes mod pack doesnt work, instead I have a stevens chrom again..........with no minute or hour hands.......... )

I combined his mod for the map tables with the SI Interior mod from OakGrove for my own game so the best I can do is offer you that set up to add to your game if your interested.
