Default Bridge/Binocular Views

Normally, i do not mess with the visuals but this is something that i should have asked a while ago.
in TMO 2.5, the compass heading for the Binocular View is in white font which is unreadable during a normal bright, sunny day in the western Pacific.

what and how can i change it to so that i CAN read it during the day and also read it at night?
are there two set of color available, one for day and one for night?

thanks

Apparently there were mistakes with the optics in TMO 2.5, especially in relation to the ship mast measures / ID book. That's why the OTC mod was made, it corrects all optic errors.

With TMO you set up OTC like this:

--------------------------------------
1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5
1.5_Optical Targeting Correction 031312 for TMO 2.5
1.5_OTC_Realistic Scopes for 16 to 9_TMO
---------------------------------------

The OTC readmes give a lot of details why these optics were corrected and why new ones introduced. Some people find them overly large in 1920x1080 but they show you the outside when your eyeball is very close, so it's ok.

Sorry KM, I should have responded first to your question:

Pretty all optic settings are located in the Library\Cameras.dat file, but after taking a brief look I didn't find in it what you are looking for, I guess it's in a grafical dds file which cannot be changed without changing the grafic.
But take a look yourself with the 3Ditor, maybe I missed it and maybe it's still elsewhere. I hope someone can clarify it exactly.

Greetings,
XS
