Disregard last reply. Once the the picture is taken through the periscope is there a folder in the SH4 directory that pictures are saved to?

Yeah... I cannot recall exactly though, but look in the game's "Save" folder. I do not recall if they last longer than the mission or not (they do)... You can "see" them on the Captain's panel with your "orders". Found 'em! So look in SaveFolder / data / photo / picture.bmp, which would be listed by date, named like screengrabs in the Game folder, but with "photo" in their names...
Here's what they look like on the Captain's Panel (clipboard): Click on the little camera icon, and you get: Use the scroll gutter to view other pix, if you have any. Each Mission Objective will have its own set of Photos. I cannot recall how many are saved, but it's like six or ten, I cannot remember... which pull its info from that Save folder, which is this: |
