Default Thermal Layer data?

Will the ACTUV vehicles being considered have a means to determine where thermal layers are, or other ocean conditions?

In the sim, I seem to have no way to know where the layer resides or what type of SSP exists.

I noticed the mission description, or tasking order mentioned the current layer depth. I don't see how you could use it though. No towed array to dip under it.

That capability would be nice but then as mentioned above - who cares, you cant look below it anyway. However if that ACTUV thingy gets a VDS ... well ... that would be a different story then.
