Default My first build back into the hobby

My first model build as an adult, an airfix Stuka in 1:72 scale.

I wanted something with a camouflaged scheme, but picked this one because the pattern was all straight lines
Everything brush painted, maybe I'll look into getting an airbrush further on into the hobby.
I tried by hand at a little bit of weathering with a line wash and some metal paint streaks to simulate places with peeled paint.

Nice Stuka! Really looks the part.

I can only imagine that sharks mouth must have been tricky, from the kit decals I presume. Well done.

JEEZE! for 55 years I worried about this problem....was I alone??!! Now, after half a century, I can rest easy! This one model is about all I have left of my once large childhood model collection. Thanks for posting!

That looks really good. I want to do a Stuka now. Good weathering.
