TYPE XXI OR XVIII IN SH4 U-BOAT EXTENSION PACK?

Hi everyone. Is either the type XXI or type XVIII U-boat included in the SH4 U-Boat extension pack? I have that as part of the SH4 Gold edition, but the only U-Boat I can use is the type IX. Can someone let me know what the scoop is? Thanks a lot. Jeff

You need to use v1.5 of SH4 - with the U-Boats in it, for the Operation Monsun mod from lurker_hlb3. The download links are further down in that posting. Another option of that sort is to use Fifi's Dark Waters mod, which is built on lurker's Operation Monsun mod, and is all-inclusive. The original poster back-when was asking about the Uboat Mission Add-On v1.5, which was the original packaging of the paid update for Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific v1.4. You can now purchase the "Gold Edition" of SH4 which includes all of the updates. As it stands, the v1.5 has the Type XVIII and Type IXD2 boats in it, nothing else... You need mods to get the other boats.

What country do you live in? You will have to "search" shopping sites in your area. When I try to load the Ubisoft Store in the US here, I am getting an "Unable to connect" error, so I suspect my ISP is having issues at this time, but the SubSim site link for info is [ulr=https://www.subsim.com/sh4/silent_hunter4_addon.php]Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific U-Boat Missions[/ur] from Oct. 30, 2007. It is a paid add-on, and has never been "free". I cannot find the add-on itself for sale anywhere in the US, and the full "Gold Edition" of SH4 is getting difficult to find, but both Steam and Amazon in the US have the "Gold Edition" currently. I'm sure there are other places available to purchase it.
