But sniping is still fun in TF2! Especially since you can do this:

"Thanks fer stayin' still, Wanker!"

And here, just for the sake of it, the "meet the Sniper" video:

Used to but my connection speed was so slow (DSL - 768 kbps) so I gave it up.

I have a 256 KBPS and I used to play AA and team fortress 2 without problems, though admittidly I could only play during non-peak hours.

(Note to self: look into 'Orbiter')

But unlike many games that render their ancestor obsolete, Homeworld 1 and Homeworld 2 play differently, have different ships and the tactics being used are not the same and so allow for a different gameplay.

That's why i always play skimirsh with both with great pleasures without feeling the first one as "too old", in fact it is always as great as the second game.

My favorites RTS. I wish if the Homeworld 3 really happen one day, it will walk in the path of those legends.
I never did finish Homeworld 2. One was great. 2 Felt like a rehash at the beginning and it didn't have the no where else to run type of feel.

What is the best rally car racing sim out now? Something preferably without draconian copy protection? I have an Act Labs RCS with 7 speed gear shifter (+ reverse) and force feedback that I need to pull out of mothballs!

The best rally sim is still Richard Burns Rally. No loss, though, as its really great even if its a bit old.

Vlad, its the bumpy chicane in sector 2 at the Hungaroring. Tough corner to get right. (I see what you mean though, from that angle it looks a bit like T1 at Monza)

Yeah, I couldn't see those speed bumps and was wondering if you were using an older version of the Monza track.

I actually don't have a Hungaroring...

You should get it, its one of those tracks that usually produce really boring races on tv, but its very fun to drive. Very techical and rewarding when you get it right.

My current pleasure drive, on two of my three sims, is Laguna Seca. Something about that dry California ambience makes it seem perfect for old muscle cars. Why I spend half my sim time driving a Honda Accord on it...who knows?

Screenies from GTL and Race 07..

This one IS at Monza. Sweet Danica Patrick livery skin. I'm a fan, but even if I wasn't, I'd love this paint job...

Mini Cooper at Mondello Park, sponsored by some brand of whiskey I've never heard of.

A Shelby GT 350 closing on a Lotus Cortina on the short version of the Nurburgring. the good news: I'm in front. The bad news: I'm not in the Shelby. I just barely won that one...talk about a rush.
