Just finished the first one, it was good, thanks for posting. If anyone doesn't have the time to watch it all. There was a question @ one hour 18':50" asking what non-nuclear options are available to Russia? I think Michael's answer pretty much sums up current capability of Russian armed forces. Its not always so much numerical and technological superiority that wins the objective, its how you use what you do have. If you have the time its definitely worth watching the entire lecture.

I'll watch the next two later.

there is one thing the Russian military needs to change right now. They need to stop the madness sewing all those velcro patches on their new 'vkbo' winter suits what the hell, whose idea was that? I ordered a set to try out for winter turkey season.

Glad that you found them informative. The bit that I enjoyed was Kofman saying that the Russian leadership believes in the threat of coloured revolutions and some other similar points.

Will finish watching the first one when I have the time. It is interesting though. On another note, it has been reported that the Admiral Kuznetsov is on fire this morning after some kind of accident during repairs, Is it under control yet? And sorry about the loss of life that has been reported too.

2 dead confirmed, 11 missing on the Kuznetov, fire raged below decks through inner compartments. Poor sailors, trapped below deck with a fire raging around them, so sad.

It is still being kept by the Navy and the work on it's new dry dock is still being done.

Some interesting thoughts from the Swedish report.
Apparently it takes, to reinforce Poland:
- 2 weeks for rapid response force from Germany
- 4 weeks for a US unit from CONUS with airlift etc
- 6 weeks for a US unit from CONUS being sealifted
