Find enough to shoot at? no, not really. all of the objectives are WAP missions and most of the surface contacts are the verdampt Armed Trawlers. PITA.

i think the issue has something to do with these dials/switch. never used them before but they are spinning as i am lining up a shot. i am stationary and the target is moving at 6-9 kts. the green-blue light is actually a switch which allows manual control of the bottom dial. i say again, i am a firm believer in auto-targeting so i rely on my control room crew to compute an accurate firing solution.

auto targeting is a thing i have never used in any SH... i don’t even know how it works!

The blue button is to lock/unlock all dials to enter the firing solution (speed/distance/AOB dials)

Thank you

Fixed the weird lighting / reflexion of type IIB (mainly underwater) by deleting the Unified RenderControler that doesn't work well at all on my rig.
I backed up the traditional Caustics/Dynamic shadows/Water Reflection that work better





Have to adjust the deck camera while sailing in rough weather... because it’s very hard to stay on deck. The camera is tilting to command room way too fast in my opinion

Fifi, is there a reason why I lose my boats emblem and ships ensign when I'm surfaced? I get that they disappear when submerged, however when I'm surfaced both disappear.

The current mission is Oct 1941 in the MTO having just transferred from Brest.
Modpack is as you have laid out in order with 4b as the latest installment.

Look it's no war stopper, and I just thought you might know

No, there is no reason to loose the emblem!

On above pictures, i have small emblem both surfaced and submerged

Im having the same problem
Im in a type Viib in 1939

Seems Like sometimes i cant see ships in the distance when they are Like + 8 km away

I Think the Viib is the fault
Lots of fps drop when playing that boat 🤷‍♂️

Could be a lack of memory...because i can’t see why the emblem could disappear/appear! Meaning this is a node who calls the emblem TGA in the right position, and that’s all...
Strange anyway, as i didn’t touch the emblems TGA for sure.

I started a career in a type IIC from Wilhelmshaven in January 1940, and i will start an other in a type VIIB in September 1939, so i will see if i can reproduce something like you said

my apologies for interrupting the conversation....
i was doing some OpM testing for propbeanie and s7rikeback late last year/early this year discovered that the 7B/7C had some hidden issues which we witnessed but could not identify. one of the symptoms was tremendously large save files. some as large as 250+MB. yes, mega-bytes.

we were never able to determine the root cause...so we blamed it on lurker. (just kidding)
the point is that there are boats with hidden things that cause untrace-able problems. my advice is to keep reporting them and maybe we will figure out why and fix them.

ALL boats are working well for me
Except the type Viib


IVe found these things

1. Type xxiii camera tilting wrong Way when diving ( i never use this boat so no Big problem)

2. Seems Like the type 9 uboat is bouncing in the Water and thats when the Waves isnt that big, Like a Ball jumping from side to side?
Strange because its a much bigger boat and should NOT be bouncing more than the smaller type 7 ,
Big game breaker for me����‍♂️

3. The type Viib boat has lots of fps drop and lags when playing?
I have too turn graphics Down in order to play proberly even when my Rig is brand new

4. When hunting a convoy and running on the surface I could not see the ships ? Even when they where in range of my watch crew

5. I sank a merchant and I could only see the fire from the burning wreck when I used external camera and went closer ??

What U-Boat type?
Yep as others have stated Type VIIB. Also unusual is the starboard side emblem is only half shown ( In-games U74 anchor- from top to bottom, starboard side missing).
Again not a war stopper but as stated needs reporting.

2) Wich kind of type IX?

3) Don’t have this trouble, even though i don’t have a NASA computer. Little drop of FPS with the VIIB, but nothing unplayable so far...

4) Didn’t notice any thing of this kind here. Still trying to reproduce...
