Default Where to get S3D editer?

I keep reading in posts to use the S3D editor, I did a Google search but the results are a bit confusing, not sure what to download etc.

Any help appreciated.

After I downloaded it, I then found out I already had it lol.

I must have downloaded it a while ago not realising what it was, I used it to change the armour level on a couple of ships.
Then when I downloaded this and tried to install it I got the message it was already there.

What I wanted it for this time was to try and add a bit more speed to a ship, I didn't want it to be like a destroyer or a PT boat but just a few more knots but not sure where to look and what to change.

In every ship folder there's a .sim file. This is the one you need to open with S3D.

This is an AI ship:

Playable subs are very similar, but speed needs to be adjusted for the electric engines as well.

indeed. be careful how you adjust those values because there is delicate balance between speed, power, rpm, rudder effects, et.al.
