Default Long standing issue...want to resolve before release

Sometimes one must fight escorts or perhaps you want to go all "Harder" and hunt destroyers. The most effective solution is the "Down The Throat" shot. A risky shot but worth having as an option. Problem in TMO is way back in one version Ducimus reinforced the bows on the destroyers, gave them iron chins. I've hit one with three mark 14's in bow before and while damaged, did not sink. This is a bit much want to make them as vulnerable as DD's were to this shot. Which files do need to edit? I've looked and am lost. Really want to solve this as in my TMO update and a mission as USS Harder, tangling with DD's happens, need to have this option or its an unfair handicap for player.

In the ShipName.zon file. Open the ShipName.dat file, and then click on the "zon" button upper-right of the screen, then in the dat file again, select the main ship node (like 7:Node - NDD_Fubuki as an example), then click "Model Preview" link to get the ship to show in the window. After that, click on the blue circle & green square icon for "Toggle zones editor" that is just above the picture of the 3D artwork, and your ship should then have another window to the right, and at least one sphere, usually right by the conn. But click on the "Boxes" link in that right-hand pane. On some of the DD, Ducumus made the boxes smaller, and none by the bow, especially none low, so while you might get an explosion, it won't "damage" anything. You shoot it at a 90 though, about the middle, and it'll blow sky-high. Compare the Fubuki to the Asashio in the mod, and you'll see the differences. You want them to be more like the Asashio. You can add boxes, or just re-size the ones that are there, and move them around some maybe. You do have to be careful with that though, else you'll give them a glass jaw. You could also compare them to, or copy from the Stock versions.

You are welcome What I found interesting this afternoon, is that those two ships, Asashio and Fubuki, are both "built" the same way in Stock... so why did they not put any "damage" stuff on its bow?... lol
