Flew low nearly all way home (long way) nearly ploughed a few fields in the process :p It was when i needed a bit altitude to see the base, they got me.

That's right. If you fly low enough they won't hit you.
That's what I tried in kratos last video.

Then have a look at the bright side again: your comrades didn't have to search long for your body and could soon go back to their cardgames .
