SH3/GWX 3 Gold veteran wants to try SH4 ATO and need help

Hello Kameraden
I'm a user of SH3/GWX3 Gold (fantastic work, one of the best addon ever made for computer game).
Waiting for new SHV I'd like to try something with better graphic than GWX, but I'm a noob in SH4. After reading this thread I've downloaded Operation Monsun Addon v705, OMv705_to_v712 patch with Hotfix 1 and OMEGU_v200.
Is it complete pack for playing instead of GWX 3?

PS. What about 1.5 patch for SH4 ATO? I've found only 1.4.

Do you mean patch 1.5 for SH4, it is SH4 UBM upgrade.

Operation Monsun Addon works only with SH4 U-BOAT MISSIONS = UBM.

This way I can play US and Axis side in same install, German/English speech
too.

About Scene it is my patch to Sh3toSh4.V3_RSRDC_OM that I am testing
Should make sea less transparent.
Instead of Sh3toSh4.V3_RSRDC_OM you can use Omegu200.

I want to play only German side as U-boot commander, I've played as American commander many years ago using Silent Service II, after that no game about American submarines was attractive for me.

I've installed OM patched to v712 and OMEGU200 over it and it looks good. I have to learn how to command Uboot, because SH3/GWX was completely different. The biggest bug for me is crew of shadows on deck using artillery.

I'm using OM on top of RFB with RSRD. Works like a charm for both theaters. GWX can be compared with RFB and TMO, but not with OM. What OM does is amazing, there are lots of issues to be ironed out but as it is, it can keep you busy until SH5 comes out. And the graphics are...

Hi Reece! Nice to speak to you at this subforum, old friend :-)

I've decided to try SH4 ATO for better graphic - want to see similar graphic to incoming SH5, SH3 has too old engine as you know.
I've installed only two big mods, only for ATO, you can see them in my sig. Now I try to familiar with SH4 game engine - it's new for me.
I hope to play some interesting careers until SH5 arriving.

@ jaxa, this could be interesting!!

RSRDC is the Run Silent, Run Deep Campaign. It changes all the Japanese convoys and task forces to a more historical configuration. It's mainly for the Fleet Boat side of things, but if you plan on campaigning one of the Monsun boats it will make it more accurate. If you plan on staying in the Atlantic I don't think you need it.

It is a bit like omegu but for both U-boats and fleetboats.
Run Silent, Run Deep, the Campaign” (RSRDC) is a major rewrite of the campaign layers of SH4. lurkers us side fleetboat mod
Sh3toSh4.V3_RSRDC_OM I try to bring SH3 like enviroment and feeling to SH4, + sh3 music sh3 german speec, + water streams + diesel exhaust + ship rocking, also IXA sub with fore and aft deck gun + flag.( I admit not 100% realistic,a bit like german version of narwhal).
For US side Fleet boats, tweaked water streams , diesel exhaust, ship rocking,
.Uboats have a bell, and German Speech. Fleetboats a klaxon, and English Speech.
