What kind of discussion you were expecting. Not much to say to that.

This is the first time I've seen a thread bumped when it is not only on the first page, but also at the top of it...twice...

So, I have a soft-close seat lid on my toilet. Handy for not waking the kids with a bang at 3am. I'd recommend them to everyone, but go for something a bit above the basic range - mine is only cheap and it shows. Next time I'll get something better.

Anybody like to add to this discussion now?

I just set the lid down softly.

There is that, but we have a 13 year old boy who isn't the quietest in peeing at night. Mind you if the stomping up the stairs doesn't wake the little ones a banging lid won't either.

The toilet in my apartment was manufactured 366 days before I was born. True story.

I'm good looking. False story.

Hey at least I'm honest.

The heated, soft-close model is what you're looking for......

I prefer the nature/outdoors model. Even comes with posion ivy toliet paper to get the realism of ALL the bad decisions you made today!

The only real problem I have with the soft-close toilet seat is when visiting friends and family who don't have one.

SLAM!
