The modern Gold Wing.

Seriously, very attractive bike.
However, not very track oriented unless the track is straight.

Well, after 10 years and 69,000 great miles, I sold my V-Strom 650... and picked up a new V-Strom 1000. All the nimbleness with tons of torque.

Man, the skill level of the trials riders is off the charts. I have trouble just putting my kickstand down at times

They make the whole balancing act look a lot easier than it really is.

I wonder what kind of weight those bikes have, and would be curious to know how tight that yoke is. If the yoke has the same resistance as a normal dirt/street bike, that's even more impressive!

Also, kick stands are over-rated.

Warning: this can happen to you! Be wary of entering a V-Max gravitational field.

Nice machine, I always like the Max.

There on the side of the road was motorcycle with a “For Sale” sign posted in the lawn beside it. Out of idle curiosity, I pulled over for a closer look and much to my surprise was the brawny-as-a-buffalo shape of a Yamaha V-Max. There was an immediate disturbance in the Force.

My local store is only two miles away ... this might work

Porsche's luxury electric bikes are coming out this spring

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/techn...?ocid=BingNews

Quote:
Porsche has launched a couple of other electric vehicles alongside the Taycan Cross Turismo, but they're of the two-wheeled variety. The luxury automaker has debuted two electric bikes inspired by the Taycan, both of which feature full-suspension carbon-fiber frame and Magura brakes. They're also equipped with components, including their motors and gear shifting systems, manufactured by Japanese bicycle industry giant Shimano. Porsche says they were made to complement the Cross Turismo, which has a rear carrier that can accommodate up to three bicycles.

Your right! I forgot to read it all the way down to the price ...

Here's what I need ... but is this the right thread?

Only $2,200

I couldn't find one about electric vehicles

No thanks. For that kind of coin, I could buy a decent touring cruiser motorcycle. I will be in the market for one this spring as my motorcycle group does some intermediate runs of about 300-500 miles in a day. My cruiser gets to feel a little cramped after that many miles in spite of a plush aftermarket saddle and high end highway pegs.

They hope to resume their runs after a year long hiatus because of Covid concerns.

The Yamaha V-max engine ( V-4 ) can be found in the Yamaha Royal star line of Touring Cruisers in addition to the incredible V-max. The cams in the Royal Star line are different that that found in the V-max to optimize mid range torque more suited to touring and towing a small camper or luggage carrier. They run great but the 4 carburetors are really tough to work with and synchronize.

If I had a spare $ 60,000, this is what I would want. The T-rex Campagna is a 3 wheel " auto car " which is considered a motorcycle / trike. It features a 4 cylinder in line motorcycle engine. For that kind of coin, I'm wondering why they didn't put in an efficient all aluminum 4 cylinder car engine and drive system.

When it comes to motorcycles I have seen some models I would love to build-each of them is in scale 1:4 and 1:6.
