Default Hitman's Lagewinkelscheibe Tool Tweaked

hello to all Subsimers,

this is a tweaked version of the ''Lagewinkelscheibe'' tool that Hitman ,originally, presented some time ago

the tweaks i made on it are :
1. user has now control of the Bearing Indicator
2. Inner Bearings are now in a fixed position
3. added a mark showing U-boat's Course
4. rework the images of the tool

how to read the tool:

you can find it at Subsim's Download Section and at my Mediafire page

Credits
---------

to Hitman for the originally presentation of the tool and for pointing me a link with a photo of the real thing

That's marvelous news! The Lagewinkelscheibe was quite a handful to install, IMO, but even before it always was a must have tool - and now with added functionality! Great!

Can't wait! In fact, Hitman's Lagewinkelscheibe is most used tool when I play.

Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!

Can I express my preferences?
Super, I only prefer, it to be RelativeDrag, and to make the movement area for Lagerad with more low resolution, same as bearings.tga inner part (255,255), thus does not interfere with the start of the movement of the indicator.

hello Tycho,

i guess that using for years the discs , i got used to grab the indicator from the ''N,E,S,W'' positions so it is not bothering me but i understand that there will be people that may prefer it to be in the way you describe

sh3's engine has its limitations on the controlers for such items (never will work smooth all together) so whatever controls you may choose will have advantages and disadvantages.
the RelativeDrag controling has this annoying ''stop'' when you are turning clockwise the discs. the smaller area for the Lagerad turns to leaving a part of the lagerad not fuctional (which is the price for having a nice working indicator) and this is more ''cluttering'' for my habbits on using these discs.

feel free to post your settings on controls (you can make the lagerad area even larger up to 282x282 without interfering with indicator's movement) in order people to choose whatever suit most to their needs and enjoy the tool

@makman94:

Hi, makman94. First of all, I wanted to thank you for your great work to make SH3 bigger. It is a great effort to keep alive and revitalized this great game that delights so many fans. Secondly, the '' Lagewinkelscheibe '' seems to me an incredible and wonderful tool. So even though I know that you are a very busy person, I would ask you when you could, do a good tutorial of those that only you know how to do explaining the use of this great tool. Thank you very much for everything and it is a privilege to have people like you in Subsim. A greeting.

Hi!
look here
http://tvre.org/en/acquiring-torpedo-firing-data
(bottom of the page)
or look for Angriffsscheibe hanbuch - in pdf, it is here somewhere. I can't find the English version but it's surely there.
It describes two-sided disk but the first side has the function of Lagenwinkelscheibe.

hello álvaro,
i don't know any other uses of this tool than the ones i described on the OP video.
for further info on the use of such kind of tool ,you can look at ''Angriffsscheibe_Handbuch_3.pdf'' (you can find it in the ''documents for the tools of MaGui F.rar'' inside the MaGui F pack)
