Default SH3 Commander date folders

Did a search on this question but just got more confused.

- If I add a mod to be activated on a certain date, is it only used on that date, or that date and all dates after it too ?

I.e., I add a leigh light mod in a 1942/06/01 date folder. Is it only used for that folder's time frame, or is it also used for any date past 1942/06/01 ?

“If” the mod involves a .eqp file entry for the specific
Aircraft, the answer would lie there. The equipment number, will be followed by the node name, then the date it is available, then the next date when it is no longer available. If the second date is month 5 etc. 1945, then once enabled through jsgme it will remain in effect in the game from that day forward, until the mod equipment is superseded, or the war ends. Hope that helps.

Helps a lot, thanks ! There is no available date on the mod, nor no non-available date so just adding the mod makes Leigh lights available the entire war, which wasn't the case.
Since Leigh Lights came about in 6/42, I've put the mod's files in a Commander date folder of the same date and they shouldn't be available until then and then be available the rest of the war since there is no non-available date in the mod eqp file.
If I understand your explanation correctly.

SH3 Commander is convenient because it can change files from a specific date. But mikey117us talking about the correct line of the file .eqp

[Equipment*]
NodeName=B03 ; For example
LinkName=NULL
StartDate=19380101
EndDate=19420531

[Equipment** ]; Leigh light
NodeName=B03
LinkName=Leigh light
StartDate=19420601
EndDate=19451231

Yes thanks. I've seen this in other eqp files. Think I'll try adding such info. to these mod files too. Leigh lights in 1940, etc. don't cut it.
