When I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to call up the windows task manager it always shows JSGME is not responding and there is a general lock up on the mouse as well which results in calling up the W.T.M. to clear the problem. I have put in other big sound mods to try and no problem.

question: the link on post no.1 gives the latest version plus fix? if not where (by which I mean in post no.XXX) are the latest fixes/versions? excellent ambiance enhancer

Post Number 95 is the only download you will need.
If there are any fixes i re-release the entire thing. Patches are frustrating. so there is only one download, and one link to this mod.

Great! I'll try this mod. I couldn't install the German voice pack because the program said that I had the wrong version :hmm: (I bought the Gold Edition that includes the expansion pack).

not sure what to tell you, JSGME handles this mod fine on my end and for most others, its a massive amount of files to move though.
i even found the new version of JSGME seems to do an ever better job activating it. you will get a not responding window while it works through it, and with older versions of JSGME sometimes the overwrite window will be hidden as well. good luck

I'm not bothered about this small problem as I play the German side the most these days. I will give the new JSGME a go when I change sides, when I don't know.
The manual swap over only takes me a minute.

I also used the manual installation, and it worked fine.

Thank you so very much for this careful work, i am just done now reading all the way up to here. i was so hopeful to see U boat operations correct and historic. This will be a great happiness to have.
btw, a small historic note, sometimes they used gongs and sometimes not, as sound travelled a long way thru water, depended on where they were and the Kaptain. Also the whistle of the Stabsobersteuermann Quartermaster might be used or not..... this is great work and i am very grateful to all who are doing it to make this much more real.
