gear Hello and thanks for having me.

Never one to flout tradition, hello and a thank you for allowing me to join the sub sim community.
For many years I've been a submarine fanatic. Yes I had a plastic submarine in the bath from a very early age.
Back in the seventies as a teenager I played countless table top naval wargames and in most of them I always preferred to be a sub commander.
The Original Das Boot TV series and the film I have lost count of how many times I have watched.
In the eighties I remember playing the Das Boot game on my laptop. It may possibly have been the distant ancestor to Silent Hunter. On a PC in that era it had me hooked.
More recently SH3 and 5 (without mods) of which I have enjoyed immensely. Thank you to the developers of these great sims.
I invested in Wolfpack recently. Though still in its infancy I have great hopes for it as it continues to develop adding more and more realism to the project. The multi-player aspect adds an air of camaraderie that makes it unique.

Having joined SubSim my first task was to install the Wolves Of Steel. The installation was easy and I am totally impressed. All credit to everyone involved. I cant wait for my next mission with full realism and all these fantastic modifications.

To everyone out there in the community good sailing to you all.

Regards
