Default Roger E. Mosely, who played T.C On the original magnum P.I series passes away.

Roger E. Mosely who played Theodore Calvin or T.C opposite Tom Selleck from the original Magnum P.I has passed away at 83 from complications of a car accident.

Quote: Mosley appeared on various television series throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including Love Boat, Night Gallery, Sanford and Son, Kung Fu and Night Court. However, his most notable role was starring as helicopter pilot Theodore “T.C.” Calvin, opposite Tom Selleck, on the original Magnum P.I. for its entire eight-year run from 1980 to 1988.

As a gift, I had received the entire original series of Magnum P.I which I haven't seen due to time constraints. The original series was awesome due to the chemistry of Tom Selleck as magnum, the late John Hillerman as Johnathan Quayle Higgins, Roger E Mosely as T.C and Larry Manetti as " Orville " Rick Wright.

All of the characters with the exception of Higgins were Vietnam war Veterans whose work on Magnum P.i illuminated the struggles of real life returning Vietnam vets to the U.S. The character Higgins was himself a war veteran and formed a strong connection with the other three main characters.

Rest in peace Roger and thanks for the great cinema and unforgettable characters.

An iconic series of the 80s.

I liked the original German dubbing from TV times back then. Voices and texts matched pefectly the pictures and characters, perfectly.

They then did a digitally enhanced release on DVD with new German speakers and texts . Horrible. Nothing matched anynmore.

(They ruined the German versions of Jaws 1 and 2 the same way, btw.)

The 'Magnum' series was great. Rest in peace 'T.C.' Mosley.
