Is there an XP compatable version of Fleet Command?If so,where can one purchase it,preferably NOT a digital Download.

The FC version included in the Naval Combat Pack is XP compatible. I seem to remember that there is also a patch that is supposed to make it compatible.

I got it via Steam, but you can get a physical copy here http://navalwarfare.net/ They also have an excellent add on for FC.

Once you get Fleet Command, you might want to try out the "NWS Naval Warfare Project" addon for it. It adds a lot more units and database tweaks as well as new missions.

Sorry for bumping this thread with a possibly irrelevant question, but: FC works on my machine (Windows XP), i.e. I get it to start. Unfortunately, the game is awfully slow, except when I close the 3D window at the bottom.
I have the Jane's edition (not SCS, but with the XP patch). Using a nVidia 440 Go graphics card with 64 MB and have a 1,7 GHz AMD processor, Windows XP SP3. Is there any fix for this problem?

Have you try the glide wrapper?
