Default Occasional crashes to desk top.

I'm really enjoying the WoS mod and game.
It's no big deal, but I get occasional crashes to the desktop. However, I'd like to see if there is anyway of preventing this occurring.
Although I have Ubisoft Uplay installed, I actually start the game from the SH5 shortcut rather than from Uplay.
I've enclosed a snapshot of my current mods - in case this may be the cause of the problem.
Any ideas please?

I guess the best way to save is with no contacts on the map.
This seems to give me the most stable file load.

If your additional mods are not in TWoS package, then they might be the source of CTDs. SH5 is better than SH4, which was better than SH3 at saving (generally speaking), and while having less going on around your submarine while saving is better for the amount written to the hard drive, it really shouldn't be that much of an issue in SH5.

Ah...I can see that Water reflections by the DarkWraith are already included in TWoS, so I'll remove it from my mods list and see how I go.

I got to Operation Drumbeat before I had crash problems - I did not CTD but saves would not load. It usually happened after some event or an aircraft attack where a/c survived. I would then have to return to a previous save - it was a real pain. After returning to port it would resolve itself. I hope you resolve it as ctd spoil a fantastic sim game.

The Wolves version you're using is quite old, the latest version is v2.2.16. Do a clean reinstall. delete old gamesaves and other files from your documents folder and download and install latest TWoS package. There's been a ton of fixes and updates in the meantime... Happy hunting!

Thanks for the heads up.
Newer version installed.

(edit): Thanks to vdr1981 for pointing me in the right direction. My Ctd seems to have been fixed with this update.
