Joystick or joypad ?
I am waiting my parcel with SBPROSE and I read that AFVsim didn't sell their tank gunner pad to the public (and 1 500$US is a bit expensoive for me ) . If somebody use a joypad with SBPROSE i am very interrested by an expeirnce return , I have a Sidewinder Freestyle Pro and a HOTAS Cougar. The HOTAS seem to be better but the joypad seem to be more immersive (he had some similitude with the tank control pad.

Go HOTAS and mouse. Arrange your control such that the combat controls are on your THROTTLE, so that you can use the mouse with your right hand even when in battle.
I have a CH HOTAS, two-layered. I have combat-related commands on the left throttle, and movement-commands on the right stick, and mouse for the right hand. second layer has the movement commands on the left throttle, and formation management on the right stick, and mouse. that way I can have both combat and movement arranged that way that I can control sights and views with mouse and/or stick, like I want. First layer see here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=90757

Thanks, so HOTAS is better than Joypad, to many commands for a pad.
