CO 2 venting?
Am I correct that surfacing is the only way to reduce CO 2. If so are there any tips on how to speed up the venting??

Yes, one has to surface to ventilate the boat. It takes longer in bad weather. Best to wait with battery charging and travel at medium speed to reduce the ventilation time.

Unless you're snorkelling. Airing out the boat can take some time using the snorkel depending upon the sea state.
