Consequences of blocking his appointments for 3 1/2 years.
Some of whom would especially help at this time.

Pelosi is busy eating ice cream anyway.

Please note the words "extraordinary Occasions". This pandemic qualifies.
Had congress been in recess Trump could have called them back,
Congress was already sitting so there was no need to "convene" them.
Thank you

This part "he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper" suddenly made me think.

What if the Americans in the future elect a President who have an inner Stalin in him/her. This President could if I understand the part between "" adjourn the Congress as long s/he feel for it and become an American dictator.
(I'm pretty sure there are a other federal laws which make this impossible)

If you read closer, the Senate & the House have to agree on when and how long they adjourn their session, If they can't decide between themselves then the president steps in and decides for them when and for how long they will adjourn. So, technically the President can adjourn a session of congress, but in practice, He can only do so if congress refuses to come to a decision.

Trump. Pelosi. Biden. Sanders.

The Granny States of America.

If it goes on like this, one day America will be governed by an extracted 120- year old granny brain with wires pinned to it and floating in a giant petry dish with nutrition fluid in it.

You could boiled it down to one reason:

The Voters-as long as they keep on putting their vote on very old politicians USA may one day have a President as you so colourful have painted.

Then another question pops-up Where are all these young promising politicians, which I'm pretty sure there are.

Looking back,
Ever since Reagan.....
Who was taken out.
We have had no choice.

Clinton, Bush, Hussein Obama.
Repeat.

Anyone else is destroyed and taken out by the media.
The media attacked Trump when they realized he was a threat to their system.

That is how he won.

There are a few younger ones that I am keeping my eye on. For example Dan Crenshaw. I'd vote for that guy in second. Level headed, smart, and articulate.

Crenshaw is good.
I've watched him.
He is articulate and sharp.
A veteran.

But he stands no chance.....at this time against the media.
I hope that changes.

Unless you are a socialist, they attack you.
FACT.

No offense, but you guys on the other side of the Atlantic have sometimes a rather strange definition of "Socialist". Sometimes I have the impression that all opinions left of a Conservative means you are a Socialist. That limits your options. Limiting your options is never good. You are always limited in your current thinking, never evaluating other options or trying out any new things(which does do Nature all the times for a very good reason).

As another example, you see this in my country which always never consider the option to use military force (as the last option). Or where the left-wing party of the current coalition opposes currently buying F-18s since they do not want to have the option to use US nuclear weapons as a last resort of defense. If you vote for this, you are not seldom accused of being a "cold warrior". It is a completely other topic but the thinking behind is the same...you do not actively evaluate all options and have your fixed "view of the world"

BTW...Sanders is a socialist but you just need to shortly google the media coverage of him or do some basic research and you can hardly argue that he is loved by the media...see just this https://thehill.com/homenews/media/4...age-conspiracy as only one example...

Being lauded by the mainstream media always guarantees the other guy my vote.

Could you imagine if China in order to save themselves threw some prominent democrat under the bus and said he/she was in contact with someone who worked at that bio-weapons lab and may have paid for something to be released because "orange man bad".

Be careful there, both the Biden and Clinton families have some interesting business ties to china, it wouldn't take much for the tinfoil hat crowd to pick up that ball and run with it. So don't give them any ideas.

Looking at the data, Trump seems to have had one of the fastest retreats of a rally around the flag effect in modern polling history.
[...]
My study of rally around the flag events since World War II found that the median one still has some effect for more than 200 days after the event occurs. We're only about 40 days after Trump started to see his polling climb. Unbelievably, this is usually when rally around the flag effects hit their peak, not when they are almost entirely extinguished.
[...]
Still, there's plenty of reason to think that Trump's limited bounce in terms of height and time is an underperformance. Indeed, as Trump's approval rating has declined, Congress' has gone up. Both Fox News and Gallup put Congress' approval rating at their highest since 2009. In pretty much every state poll I'm aware of, the governor's approval rating, no matter their party affiliation, is higher than Trump's.
[...]
In terms of his reelection prospects, it should be worrying to the President that even with a black swan pandemic occurring, he couldn't get his net approval rating above 0 points. It's going to be difficult to win the election if his net approval rating is -8 points among voters on election day.
There seems to be a link between Vit-D levels, immune system activity and vulneraiblity to severe Covid-19 infeciutosn. oputting Blacks and Hispanics at greater risks due to their darker skin colour that prevents Vit-D production by the skin in sunlight. So I would expect that many of those dark-coloured people who voted last time for Trump, due to their negative experience with Covid-19 and the greater toll their communitie sazhd top pay, this critical group will turn its backs on Turmp to a degree that it may prove to be critical for Trumpman, even more so since the Vit-D connection usually gets ignored and instead gets interpreted as a social class issue (which it may additionally also be, I do not wish to rule that out).

Onbe thing we cna be certrain of: the more he starts to lag behind in pollings, the more the Trumpman will start to run amok and kick and beat and spit at all directions like a maniac. It already has started.

Biden is not a good choice. But he is by far the lesser evil. So be it, if that is how it turns out in Novembre (and Trumpman failed in unleashing a hot shooting civil war).
