Yep. Some states are making adjustments and I say all the more power to them if they can or want too. But in this case even Wisconsin's own Supreme Court shot the idea down and told'em to pack sand. IMO it's up to each State to figure out their own real or perceived problems. God forbid if Federal judges got involved and ended up setting a new precedence. I hate to imagine the national cluster fun that would turn into.

And just like that, America has put itself in the position where the only choices it has left are abysmal.

This country is so screwed.

Only a thought based on what have been written in our Wuhan-thread.

There's an old English comedy

Some mother's do 'ave 'em

I have seen Trump not acting as a good leader where he should have shown strength but instead have shown the opposite.

I have also seen his supporters supporting him strongly despite others critics on his behaviour in their Corona crisis.

I have therefore change this English title to

Some American voters do 'ave 'im

Supporting a politician, a president is ok, but there are times when a supporter should say-this is not ok I do not support his/her action.

Weird thing is, it's being spelled both ways across multiple outlets

Are you talking about Obama and McCain?

No wait a minute perhaps it's Hillary Clinton and the unknown billionaire Donald Trump

It's always down to just two (2) unless someone runs as an independant like Ross Perot did one time and cost the loser the WH office.

https://www.bing.com/search?FORM=U50...1&q=Ross+Perot

Quote:
Henry Ross Perot was an American business magnate, billionaire, philanthropist, and politician. He was the founder and chief executive officer of Electronic Data Systems and Perot Systems. He ran an independent presidential campaign in 1992 and a third-party campaign in 1996, establishing the Reform Party in the latter election.

Both campaigns were among the strongest presidential showings by a third party or independent candidate in US history.

Understand Markus that our nation is split ideologically. There are people in this country, many people, who would never admit that Trump did anything good, regardless of what it was. What you are seeing is mostly an opposing reaction to that.

If the Democrat controlled media reporting was more balanced and fair maybe his supporters would be more inclined to criticize the the things they don't like but as long as the Democrat hate and venom flows unabated, as long as they continually belittle anyone who doesn't toe their party line, then don't expect his supporters to become very introspective.

I know that your country is very much divided.

I also know that you are one of President Trump most dedicated supporter on this forum, which I respect you for.

But there must have been times or situation where even you must have said to yourself -
This is something I can't support or similar.

"Right or wrong Mein Fuehrer"

Which is not entirely wrong.
In times of trouble it maybe makes sense to be not as divided as you would be under "normal" conditions.
Which is of course humanthink and should be obsolete.

Well when it comes to major policy decisions, not so far. Pretty much everything he's done in that regard I agree with, from getting us out of the Paris Climate change accord to his tax cuts to his attempts to get us out of these perpetual foreign entanglements.

When it comes to his Big Mouth there certainly are things that that he's said or tweeted that I do not approve of, he took his feud with John McCain way too far imo for example, but i am willing to dismiss that stuff as unimportant when compared to his actions. We do need the Deep State and the Washington Cabal of Elitists taken down a notch or three. We really do need our President to be nation centric. We really do need to secure our borders and get illegal immigration under control.

So maybe kicking half of the nation in the shins day in, day out is not a clever approach, right?

More along the lines of 28-30%, not half.

And now to something different, still related to USA and the President.
A little more scientific

Quote:
President Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday, April 7, establishing an official policy about mining resources in outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies
https://www.iflscience.com/space/tru...saVGQuwW_vY9lE

My input on this.

There have been talks and talks about mining on the Moon, Mars and other planet in our Solar system.

And now one of the worlds leader seems to do something about it-this could be the kick what science need.
It will be a lot of failures before the first success will come.

This reminds me when the American government did the same in the beginning of the 40's. Where they signed an executive order-which gave us the nuclear bomb.
(If my memory doesn't play tricks with me)

This ends it! I will vote for anybody else than Trump. I don't care how much I may disagree with their views because I disagree with Trump the Giant Turd more. Screw him!
