Default Guillow's Se5 build

Finished this display model last January. The one thing I like about building static Guillow's kits is you don't have to get really precise with the added details as the model itself lacks high precision.

Yeah, I know my house needs paint! That wall is getting new siding soon.

Very nice!

(I have a thing for WWI aircraft... for a very long time now.)

The condition of the wall actually lends itself to the photograph quite well. Gives it all a nice 'aged' effect.

Very cool mate.

Agreed, WWI planes seem to have a thing about them that makes them absolutely fascinating. Wonderful Job!

Very nice work good detailing for a Guillow's kit.

I espically liked the prop and its detailing. That hand carved?

Hand carved from balsa stock off the Guillow's plan. I think it's backwards but used the plan anyway. The hub is just painted card stock and some washers.

Superb model!
I have to agree- theres something magical in the biplane designs.
I also like the era, and if i was ever to fly the plane on my own i probably like to die in this kinda stuff.

Great model.

I especially like the photo shot from the rear quarter. Almost looked like a real aircraft from that angle.
