Default Switching Platforms

New to DW, previously played SC and 688i. Is there any way to switch between platforms in mission, i.e. between frigate and launched helicopter? Or does the platform need to be chosen at the beginning of the mission?

Tried searching but couldn’t find anything. Sorry if this has been asked already...

It's not possible. Even switching previously assigned stations in "multistation mode" is not possible.

I've been thinking about this one.
It wouldn't be practical but, suppose you had DW loaded and running on two PCs that were connected (ie, LAN). Running in MP, you could physically move between the two PCs.

I'm not really into helos and figs, but you should be able to do it. Just check on your ship every now and then once you take off.

Of course, underwater is better.
