Anyway, a few things I did happen to notice is that you have the mod order twirked beyond Miley's chiropractic help... You have TMO activated first, then the TMO version of OTC, then RSRDC. Technically speaking, you should go 1. TMO, 2. RSRDC 4 TMO, 3. RSRDC Patch, 4. OTC 4 RSRDC, 5. OTC WS, etc. That may have contributed a bit to strange data in the running game data, which confounded your original issue.

Look what the old Kaleun got:


after a modestly successful recon and patrol mission near the Marianas.
took some equipment damage but no hull damage.
sunk a passel of small ships worth 64k tons.
got an award and then the boat upgrade. this is only the second time it has happened. ever.
March of 1944 on our 18th mission, driving a Porpoise out of Midway.
i probably should go put $1 on the lottery somewhere.

p.s. we lost SJ-1 radar functionality. Backed-off and installed SJ but that will not work with the latest tower either.
according to the upgrade file, the only thing that changed in upgrading from Late War to the last tower was the paint job.

we encountered this IJN convoy during our last mission to the Marianas.
Never seen a twenty ship convoy exclusively made up of Taihosens and Kasagisans, with only one escort. Amazing.

we were NNW of Saipan at the time of contact and the convoy was headed 142 true (SSE) @ 12-13 kts. then, the middle of our setup, they change course to 179 true. no respect.
