Next Gen for IL-2?

Sure look like the PC port for IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey to me.

Yes, it is a port over of the Console's title IL2:Birds of Prey.

buy it and find out or try the demo.

have have played all simulators il2 1946 you name it , this is not arcade by any means.

middle of the road atm, with time dev team say it will all get improved even more.

A PC edition entitled "Wings Of Prey" is scheduled to be released around December 2009.

not that Oleg had any to do with this game, but it carries its name and was aimed for console audience at first. (also if I'm correct the game uses the IL2's engine to a degree with the permission of the IL2 devs ofcourse)

yea is a console version but the pc version will carry much more weight.

In the biggest German Il2 Forum (www.sturmovik.de) they say it is less realistic than Il2 and one can "feel" in the flight characteristics that it used to be a console game. So it seems this is eye candy only.

How much is "less realistic" than IL2?
