Help...Starting Uboats.

Long time SH4 player that has never done the Uboats, so I haven't a clue, except trying a few patrols. Is there tutorials anywhere on how to shoot, figure speed, ect. Totally lost trying to sink a ship.

Also what mods to DL. Doe's OM run over TMO, ect. or do I just run OM over 1.5 and remove TMO1.7. I assume it has no effect.

I've DL the following, but need an order of proper installation

OM705 to 712
OMEGU V100 patch2 7z
OMEGU V100 graphics mod.

Any others. Worn out with fleet boats and would like to learn......Would be thankful for any help.

I'm not trying to be a smart-a$$, but did you look at the readme's for OM and OMEGU, as they will answer most of your questions

You definitely want Spaxs German speech for the immersion feeling - and Csengoi's EnemiesOfGermany mod is very useful as well (all the different flags to figure out). Holler at me if I can help with anything else.

Rather a dumb A, cuz I looked for the OM thread and didn't see it, but half loopy from a dozen meds. How I missed it at the top is beyond me, but thanks, what I need and was looking for.

I'm running TMO 1.8. I'll reload 1.7, just wondered if that's an issue.

edit....dern it, can't get 705 to load all the way, rest did fine. Thought I had it the 3rd try, get about 70% of the DL and shows done, but ain't....I hate when that happens, try again tomorrow.

Finally 705 took..You have a patch one and two for omegu. It's probably under my nose, but I can't find patch one. Usually patch 2 includes patch one, but I assume it's needed since you have both. Didn't find it on lurkers page. Forgive my stupidity.....back in the bed in a damn computer controlled brace bed doped up, but bored ta death...Seems I have to read something 10 times for my brain to take it.

It says Patch one right under patch2, but I only see a Patch 2 DL link.

Found most the mods, did search, looked at the subsim page, where is Csengoi's EnemiesOfGermany
Any mods that give me back english. I just need words I can understand for now, be nice if it had an accent to it.
Started one patrol, things look good. I clicked on a door, think it was aft and my screen went green, but f2 got me back in the sub........
Now to see if I can figure out how to shoot a torp....you know of any good tutorial on video like RR does showing how to shoot, track, speed, ect.

Cool... then I can get rid of patch 1. Interesting how we learn these things...
