Default Suggested Tweaks / additions

1. When you have an officer assigned to a task, and he has one or two sailors assigned to assist him, if you send the officer to rest, it should automatically release the sailors from duty. This way, if you forget to release them manually, you dont repeatedly suffer the morale drain from "too much work from officers"

2. Reloading torpedoes on the surface with rough seas should not be possible, or should take considerably longer and require additional sailors

3. Move helmsman to the appropriate seated position in the command room rather than the conning tower (maybe?)

4. Greatly reduce the chances of a sailor having a heart attack during low morale. Seems rather unrealistic that a 19 year old kriegsmarine sailor would secumb to a heart attack IMHO

5. When oxygen levels get down to a certain percentage, provide an audible warning "Captain! We are almost out of Oxygen!" and pause the game automatically. too many times i have been sailing along under the sea, got up to make a sandwhich or use the phone and came back to all my sailors dead

6. Provide rebreathers - by default - to ALL crew sailors for one time use. Officers can use whats in storage until out. (such as in das boot when they were forced under forever and a day and all the crew had them on)

7. burial at sea option - instead of having deceased sailors laying on the deck or on the floor for a specified time before vanishing - other sailors can carry them to their bunk where they will remain for 24 hours or until you click them and select burial at sea. This will prompt a brief animation in which two sailors carry the wrapped body to the deck and gently place it in the water (too mordbid? i dont know - its very realistic and somber though!)

8. Modify game dynamics so that escorts / armed merchants do not fire guns/cannons at the u-boat once it passes below 15 m depth - i am still running into a game mechanic where i have dived to evade escorts as deep as 200 meters, and if they have me detected, they fire their deck armament continuously in my general direction.

9. Aircraft that crash into the sea should de-spawn on impact, their dissapearance should be masked by a massive splash of water. Currently they just impact the sea and suddenly stop and float there.

10. Change the lifeboats to exclude the outboard motors. I havnt seen the behahvior recently, but in earlier releases they would speed off in all different directions to evade you.

11. Compartment fires as a damage model should be implemented. Model it so that any single officer nearest the fire will put the fire out with an extinguisher, or any two sailors nearest the fire will put the fire out with an extinguisher. While the fire is burning, if you are submerged, oxygen consumption values quadruple.

12. Dry dock option. U-boats and other naval vessels require periodic maintenance while in port. We have a "crew vacation" option - it would be neat after having sustained considerable battle damage, or even just once every few patrols, having a "dry dock" option that would put the boat off duty for 10 days. Once the 10 days passed and the boat is back on duty, the end of the dry dock period you could be presented with a pop upgraphic, like a clip board that you can scroll through, and it will show you all of the maintenance items / overhauls completed by port personnel.

13. Improved map. there currently appears to be a few different "layers" of the map, the far zoom, intermediate zoom and more of a tactical overlay. Change the far zoom to more of a Kriegsmarine GUI like seen here with similar color variation etc. as you zoom in, the map will transition to more of a local ocean scene.
