Default Zones Hit Points

Can someone explain please in the Zones file what are the Hit Points?

For example if a vessel has say 100 and another has 200 can the the one with 200 take more hits before it is destroyed?

Col.

Yes; something like that. Note that some items in zones.cfg deal with compartment flooding for indestructible rooms on a ship; if so, once they reach 100% of hitpoints it just means that they flood at their maximum rate. If an indestructible compartment takes 50% damage, it will take twice as long to flood.

For example, a battleship engine room that would flood in 10 minutes at 100% should take 20 minutes to flood when half damaged.

Ships have additional hitponts in their .zon file, on top of the individual compartment values in zones.cfg.
