Default Living Silent Hunter III with Steam version

Does it work? I want to buy it on steam for hours logging and ingame overlay i am willing to support developers with extra 5€ So if someone has installed it on steam version so please let me know!

Do yourself a huge favor. Get the boxed version of SH3 and stay away from Steam. That way you have control over the mods you want to use instead of them. Actually if Steam works like it does on other Steam games they won't let you use anything but what they supply. I've found that out with a few games. X3 Reunion and X3 Terran Conflict are 2 of them. Great without Steam but crap with Steam.

works on my end with steam's version.. I believe H.Sie's patch (which comes with LSH15) decouples the game anyway from steam. So no DRM shenanigans and alike..

Indeed. If you follow the instructions you will end up with a clean copy (without needing to be on-line). The only difference is likely to be the installation directory.

I have patched steam versions running on Windows 7, XP and in Linux under Wine. GWX, JSGME and SH3Cmdr have no difficulties (even in the Linux version).

Thanks all for helping me out, I got the game separated from steam version and the Living SH3 mod works for me

Just buy it, download versión, directly at ubisoft.

Current Price is 4,95€ .

I did it some years ago and never have a problema.
