I found some old negs of my trip to the US... now turned into prints on the scanner I haven't seen these for 30 years or so

Me, when I was 15 or 16, maybe?
I was Ensign "Magellan" 8Q.
Long before Admiral 8Q.
Seriously though, I probably wasn't old enough to shave yet. I do remember that ship. And I did make that costume myself.
Still have it actually.
I earned my tricorn 'pirate' hat by the time I was 19. Heh Heh!
Then Commander 8Q.
Actually, that was a cool real sailing ship. Had diesels though for backup power. (Actually main power since the crew were lazy and didn't like rigging the sails, other than for show)

It would be interesting if someone made an exact replica, so that its original voice could be heard once again

EDIT: I just looked it up myself this time: there are 200 replica Liberty Bells!
