So, that would be in case I can't set them the way they should be, although the missiles would still just dissappear into space. In fact, the mission designer could just set a building somewhere that could be used as the SSBN fire trigger, on a unique side with only the SSBN-side hostile to it, and have it be automatically revealed to the SSBN or scripted to have a solution or engagement.

I can't wait to find the time to do some mission designing, there are SO many ways to do things!

Oh, well that's exactly how it worked in SCX. The problem is that you don't want the SSBN on its own side (although as a sub that might not be a big issue) and that you generally don't want it to fire on any land target. Yes, its an easy workaround, but a true scripted launch is better than an automatic engagement.

For this map I am paying very special attention to scripting, as scripting helped to resolve alot of bugs in the beta. And I hope that when its time to sit down and start working on this map, use of scripting will result in less bugs and faster testing and deployment.

yes that's right: Dynamic mission objective MP http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=92394
