OK just downloaded Jimbuna's ones and all is OK....well looking good so far.

Now I have just got to settle my nerves and stop the dogs barking at the telly. (I had my marantz amp turned up at time of install )

A cheat IMO. I keep an eye on the gauges and never run out.

Simpler to come to the surface, pray to whoever and watch your batteries recharge as if by divine intervention

Hitting the magic button and being home in five seconds.

True that...

Can't say I care much for the long voyage home, although - a magic carpet ride might be a bit more realistic.

I've just discovered the grey wolves mod for SHII. I owned SHIII originally, but with the recent deal on STEAM for those that pre order IL2 I added SHIII to my steam library.

Is there a way to go back and forth between original game and modded game? Some of my friends are not running mods but we play online. It may be further complicated by it running from STEAM?

I've run the mod, and it runs fine. I made a backup of my original STEAM install and copied it back and forth to make it work.

Here's a link to a mod that allows you to play multiple versions of your Sh3. I never used it myself yet, so I don't know if there will be a problem if you have the Steam version. Maybe someone else can help you there, but here's the link:

Good luck.

It's my understanding that with the Steam version you can only have one working, playable installation of the game at a time, so MultiSH3 would be of no use.

If you want another install you will need to use a different drive as far as Steam is concerned....and preferably a non Steam secondary version to avoid conflicts.
