FORMATION flying you silly git.

And few pointers to whoever will be the lead plane:
- Tell the others your pitch, power & radiator settings everytime you change them
- Warn before you turn, even better call out the turn "Turn right, 3-2-1-turn"
- Keep the darn altitude, decide the alt you want to fly in, get there and stay there. Call out any alt changes to the rest of the flight.
- Make sure the flight know's their places. Prolly good idea to tell them before taking off e.g. #2 on leader's right, #3 on leader's left, #4 on #3's left as wingman.
- And to get the formation together quickly, leader should circle the airfield at low rpm without gaining altitude 'till everyone is airborne.

FORMAL FLYING

-Groups
-Groupleaders
-Obedience towards the groupleader
-Activity in the group, chatter (position, alt, throttle, contacts)
-Stay together in the group, group attacks!
-NO lone wolves, lone wolves will risk a kick!
-If you crash and the team is far away, you wait till the team returns to base before refly as a group! (there are some exceptions if the group is nearby you may scramble if the groupleader gives you the green light)
-Groupleaders will pick the equipment, his groupmembers will do pick the same! (this will especialy help in Formation flying)
-Everyone can be a Groupleader and everyone will be one (Except you bloody NO MIC MUTES!)
-and more...

Meant the Fighter Blenheim, in group flights that thing will obviously never have a chance to fly

Ah, okay

Do you know if there is anything that can be done to fix the nigh-invulnerable German aircraft? They are way too tough for normal aircraft

OK sounds like fun I'll be there. This is something we need to practice as too often we get split up and find sod all or all die.

I could use some practice doing some formation flying, btw I do have some BOB era squadron skins (610 and 242 squadrons). Will we also be practicing group take-off and landings?
