Default SH2-DC INTEROP v1.1 patch question from a relic

Ahoy.
I am a SH2 relic. I love the simplicity of the game and the quaint but effective graphics. I know I am 20 yrs too late but I was swept up by WW1 and WW2 flight sims back then. I am catching up.

So, I have a question.

Is the SH2-DC INTEROP v1.1 patch, a separate application for the SH2 1.1 version of the game or is it the same thing? Was it intended to upgrade the v1.0 of SH2
I wouldn't be using it INTEROP for online play, but would it add any benefits to the SH2 game if I added it?

Thanks in advance.

They are the same SH2 patch v1.1. The v1.1 patch introduces some SH2/DC multiplay capability thus the word "Interop". (which confuses) . The PM (below) patch adds better multiplayer capability.

The patch order for SH2 and DC is:
1. install new game
2. Ubi-Soft/Ultimation patch v1.1
3. PM or (Projekt Messerwetzer multiplayer patch) v1.03

In addition to multiplay, BOTH patch's add fixes and enhancements to the single-player game. See Readme.

Thanks for that Vox165.

I just realised that the patch appears here as "SH2-DC INTEROP v.1.1 patch" but downloads as "SH2 v1.1".
I got my version of SH2 as the v1.1 from GOG.
I read the readme and identified the improved attempts of ships avoiding running aground from my game but wasn't completely sure.
With the current little laptop I have now I find if I load the PM app, my cursor goes completely haywire, bouncing all over the screen, which makes it very difficult to select necessary actions in heat of the fight.
Just on the off chance you might know, is there some solution for that?
Its not that important, I have been happily captaining my Uboot for some months now without PM. At the very least I can look forward to using it on my next much larger puter.

Thanks again for your response. Hals und beinbruch!

Common problem even on desktops. I think PM changed the mouse cursor speed. You could try slowing down your mouse speed in windows.

This what I do: Right click on your desktop and select: Personalize/ Mouse pointers/Pointer Options./Select a pointer speed. Return it back when finished playing. Hope this helps. -Vox
