Exclamation Recognition Manual (ESB) issue

I have issue with recognition manual (ESB) which is partially greyed out when I open it either in UZO, attack or observation periscope views.

Does anybody have any clue what could cause this or idea where I should start looking for fixes?!

Mods I use, copied from JSGME.ini so the installation and load order is exactly as it is:
GWX - 16km Atmosphere=1
GWX - Alternate Loadscreen - Full Circle=2
GWX - Alternative Flotillas=3
GWX - English Nav Map and Grid Refs=4
GWX - Enhanced Damage Effects=5
GWX - Late War Sensors Snorkel Antennas=6
GWX - Main movie - 'Das Boot'=7
GWX - Merged Campaign=8
GWX - No Medals on Crew=9
GWX - VIIC41 Player Sub=10
ARB WideGui 1920x1080=11
ARB WideGui 1920x1080 fix=12
Adaptation for English & Deutsch=13
Sh3_volumetric_clouds&fog_V2.2=14
Radio Deutschland=15
Radio England=16
M.E.P v6=17
M.E.P v6- VisualSensors for GWX3=18
DBSM=19
Optional - ShipVanishingHull for MEP v6=20

+ all patches, fixes and whatnots (tycho, 4GB, SH3 GWX cfgs) are also installed.

Issue has been there from the day 1 when I reinstalled my game less than week ago.

The issue is with ARB GUI. I think someone posted a fix on ARB's thread.

Thanks, very much appreciated. Now the ESB works like it should.

Small issue came with the fix though, draggable stopwatch is broken now, cant activate it (or stop), but other stopwatches works just fine so I just ignore it for now.

I also have this issue, does anyone know how to get the recon book to look nice whilst also having the functional stopwatch?

Default draggable stopwatch

navigate to the ARB WideGui 1920x1080 thread in the Mod Workshop section, (https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=232178) and check out post 73 & 75. I'm not real technical at this stuff so if anybody has anything to help these guys, feel free to correct me. I'm think'n this is what ya'll are look'n for. The fix for the "grayed out" rec manual in ARB's Wide Gui is just above this post (#3) on this thread. Jerry CA45

UPDATE: I got the recognition manual fix working with the functional draggable chronometer! What I did was make it so the functional chrono works as is standard with ARB Widegui. What I then did is instead of using JSGME to install the fix for the recon book, which I think edits some other stuff that 'undoes' the chronometer, I simply copied the recon book changes in the menu_1024x768 file that comes with the recon book fix mod into my original menu ini file that is changed by ARB widegui, and is what has the draggable chrono working in the first place.

DISCLAIMER: This is what worked for me. I hope it helps but I don't take responibility if things go wrong as this is the fix that worked in MY situation.

The part to copy/overwrite is as follows:
