Yep, we fly versus AI,
the Nav lights we turn on to identify eachother when we are all friendly, it actually started when I accidently missidentified 2 aircraft, I thought the chaser was Enemy but when I zoomed the aircraft I heard cursing at the other end, it was Xabbarus
since then we are using navs to at least prevent shooting mates :p

Thanks for the invitation, I'll think about that.
I am a member of the "Pacific Freelancers", a fun squadron that is rarely seen on public servers (and if we are on one we usually get a severe thrashing...). We are doing the same with the navigation lights when we are flying against the AI (not that I would ever hit a plane of my own team....[cough])

What difficulty settings are you using and when do you usually fly?

Hunter is quite good at that....lol

Of course Hunter didn't need nav lights for a bit...he had a nice red glow coming from his cockpit.:rotfl:

Sounds good for going after AI. Are you also flying dogfights?
(If yes I hope you switch the cockpitlock on and the minimap icons off.)

Depends, I host campaigns that have aircraft slots open for both sides.
so you can fly Allies or the German Luftwaffe.

for example I mostly pick the RAF while Dowly picks the Luftwaffe.
so there is a chance I meet him in combat.

I will keep in mind if you're up for a flight that I raise the Dificulty a bit with Locked cockpit on and Icons on Map off (I will leave flightpath on so you at least have a clue where you need to go)

we always meet at teamspeak if a flight is about to start, I mostly hop on about 22.00GMT +1

Teamspeak. The IP has been that new one for some time, the picture in Jim's thread just shows still the old, wrong IP.
