Default Patrol crashes after 2 hours of game clock

got a bit of a mystery here. It seems that after 2 hours of game time, I crash to desktop. If I start my patrol, from La Spezia at 0733 then I crash at 0933. If I leave La Spezia at 2048 then I crash at 2248 and so forth. I :

1. am starting a new patrol from La Spezia in July of 42 in a Type VIIC
2. am using the 4gb patch
3. have the horse power in my gamer to properly handle SHIII, 16gb Ram, and decent video card, the ASUS/ AMD STRIX RADEON RX 570 with 4gb DDR5 memory and a AMD FX 6300, 3.5mhz, 6 core CPU, etc.
4. have made no changes recently in activated mods except to change sub skins and I tried the skin I used on the last patrol, no go. I did add the MFM 3.2 displacement correction mod several patrols ago, but I haven't any problems with that mod and besides, I love the way the ships move through the water now
5. I have several, 4, GWX3.0 installs with a similar Mod setup, that work fine.
6. use Windows 10
7. only maxed out at 16x-8x time compression at the crash time
8. GPU temp = 47C or 116F
9. Have tried the restart the patrol, rolling back to "In port after patrol"

I hope this info helps and someone can help me. If not my next course of action will be catastrophic to that career. I had it for awhile and don't want to do that if I don't haf to. Thanx Jerry

If you sit in-place for those two hours, do you still crash? or does it change the timeframe of a crash? Likewise, if you leave port at Ahead Flank as soon as you spawn in, and continue that way, does it crash sooner, rather than later? In other words, is there the possibility that you are encountering a given ship or airplane that is roughly two hours out from your departure location? What is your mod list?

Propbeanie, no I haven't tried to set still or anything higher the 16x time compression since I'm still close to La Spezia. When leaving the harbor, I've tried heading both south, east and west with the same results, 2 hours and crash. Can't go north and there's not much room east. My mods list :

I believed I solved my issue by starting my patrol at sea. Been playing many years now and have never started at sea. I've had a random crash from time to time, rare, but it happens to all of us. This issue was very timely. 2 hours after the start of my 4th patrol from La Spezia. I figured it wasn't incompatible mods because I haven't really changed anything except the sub skin and everything has worked, spot on, for years. I figured it had to do with something spawning at the 2 hour mark. I figured if I started at sea, I might avoid this issue, between this spawn and any of my mods. IT WORKED ! Saved my career. All works as it should. Now its on to CO41

Excellent then. Have you ever run an SH Validator on your install? That might point the finger at something concrete. The Campaign files in the bottom window of the Validator app are not saved with the log file, so you'll either have to copy and paste the text into your log file, or remember what you saw (remember?? remember what??? lol)...

I was still having crashes at the 2 hour mark when I started patrol from LaSpezia, unless starting from sea. No other ports had problems. From my mod's list above I removed both TMT v2 with EFS (GWX3 version) and
TMT ThomsonsShips fix. Now I can start from port, (LaSpezia) again. With MFM3.3 immproved, GWX3 Wilhemshafen St Naz Schluese v6 and Extras for Wilhelmshaven Campaign v2.4c, I don't even think I needed TMT v2 with EFS (GWX3 version) and TMT ThomsonsShips fix anyway
