I noticed my town centre a lot less people and its market day and that was a busy day not now. More people wearing surgical masks and some of them not covering their nose oh my why bother.

There is no need to panic, but I'm certain of the need to isolate or at the very least reduce social contact. Keep track of of your whereabouts.

Last news from France:
Today we have a total of 354 death with the COVID 19...
More than 6000 people infected.
Last year we had more than 8000 death with the Well known flu, and few hundred thousands infected ... go figure this damn panic

Most people have already and some will never understand.

From what little I understand one person with the flu can give it to three people, but one person with the covid-19 virus can give it to ten people (on an average)

These are the reason why curefews and lock downs must be brought in now, AND MUST BE ENFORCED and violations drastically sanctioned.

We do not fight to make the everyone understand. We fight for saving lives by winning time.

One of my Danish friend said something similar.

He said between 2017 and 2018 there were 1774 death from our classic flu and people have panic on this Corona.

I said to him

How many thousand of the Danish population got the flu, those years.

If you know how many, you can also calculate the percentage of death.

And From my memory the death toll in Flu is less than 0.5 %-Where the elders and sick people have the highest percentage.

This is disturbing. But not surprising.

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archiv...oincidence.php

Quote:
Check out this 2007 article in Clinical Microbiology Reviews, titled “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus as an Agent of Emerging and Reemerging Infection.” It begins:

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is a novel virus that caused the first major pandemic of the new millennium (89, 180, 259). The rapid economic growth in southern China has led to an increasing demand for animal proteins including those from exotic game food animals such as civets. Large numbers and varieties of these wild game mammals in overcrowded cages and the lack of biosecurity measures in wet markets allowed the jumping of this novel virus from animals to human (353, 376). Its capacity for human-to-human transmission, the lack of awareness in hospital infection control, and international air travel facilitated the rapid global dissemination of this agent.
Bad. It gets worse.

Quote:
Coronaviruses are well known to undergo genetic recombination (375), which may lead to new genotypes and outbreaks. The presence of a large reservoir of SARS-CoV-like viruses in horseshoe bats, together with the culture of eating exotic mammals in southern China, is a time bomb. The possibility of the reemergence of SARS and other novel viruses from animals or laboratories and therefore the need for preparedness should not be ignored.

That was in 2007. Did the Centers for Disease Control take the hint?
Apparently not.

Covid-Simulator online.

The program was developed by epidemiologists Martin Eichner (University of Tübingen and Epimos GmbH) and Markus Schwehm (ExploSYS GmbH) together with health authorities in Baden-Württemberg. It is based on a classic model approach to describe the spread of infectious diseases.

The percentage I have heard so many, many times is dead wrong.

The death ratio is not between 3 to 6 % it is lower a lot lower less than 1 %.

It was some expert in the field of medicin(can't remember what he was) who said, it's impossible to give an exact number because we do not know the exact number of infected in an area or as whole.

What I fear most about this Corona virus, is that it will return somewhere in the autumn, more deadly and a lot more contagious even air born.

Thanks
