Great Nose Art

Hi All

StarLion 45 kindly gave me a D\L of CapZapEmlems for SH-3.

Looking them over I saw alot of them would make great NoseArt for planes on IL2 1946.

Doe's anyone know a simple jsgme way to install them ?

That's of course if it's OK with StarLion 45.

I'm telling you these

You just have to copy them into the Il2->Paintschemes->Noseart folder.

Hold on! IL2 is picky on the files you cant just dump .bmp files in the noseart folder AFAIK

Filetype: .bmp
filesize: 129kb (all the nosarts in the folder are that filesize)
Dimensions: 256 x 512

it should look like this:

The noseart files in IL2 have the possibility to have noseart for left & right side of your plane, that's why the file looks silly.

So, the file should be 256x512 pixels and then you just drop in the image you want to use. The top 256x256 area is for the left side of the plane and lower for the right.

When you save the image, change it to indexed colors (in photoshop, Image->Mode->Indexed colours) and save as .bmp. Otherwise it wont work.
