Neal All I need is a 30'x8' piece of level dirt and a power hookup.

It will be a nice leisurly drive from So Cal to your neck of the woods.

Also I'll be towing something that will give Rebeltwo and me something to talk about besides SubSims and I have a extra bunk for a scotter driver.

So, if i am still working where I am, 90% chance! If not, then probably 10% chance.

I will send out a newsletter early in Feb, if there is enough interest we should have the date confirmed soon after.

[quote=M. Sarsfield]Neal,

Tulsa is about an 8.5 hour drive away. I could probably make the drive. It would be nice to check out the Cavalla and compare her condition to the Batfish. I'll put the dates on my calendar as tentative, but I don't foresee any reasons not to be there at this time.

Sarsfield;
Keep me in mind and we could convoy to Galveston. I'm in Broken Arrow.

couple of questions would be...

1) How kid friendly will this be...I see the sub allows anyone to stay on board over 5...
2) they recommend taking watches during the stay on the sub....for what?
3) the trip to the shooting range...will someone be handing out firearms and perhaps unlimited ammo?
4) sunday at the ranch...will there be horse back riding, roping then branding?

Will do. Btw, we have a reenacting event on the USS Batfish the weekend of May 23-25, if you want to put an enlisted uniform together and help out. We have a Yahoo Group titled 'batfishgroup', if you want to get more info and be in the loop year round.

Tongue in cheek, are you going to sink a Japanese submarine or follow a Russian Yankee class ... ?

Have been to the Batfish? She's the WWII version and not going anywhere any time soon, since she's on dry land.
