Default GWX - Resupply

Hi All,

Been playing this addicting game for a while now and recently added GWX.

I'm trying to resupply at the Bessel resupply ship in Spain. I know I can Exit the patrol and then start a new one with new supplies but I've also seen where you can exit the patrol, but instead of docking, click "continue patrol" and you get a message saying you are resupplied and are able to proceed on your merry way.

This method isn't working for me. I'm 50m from the resupply ship currently and when I try the second method, it just brings me right back without any supplies or fuel. Looked at my mod list and don't see anything that could represent this so I'm a little confused right now.

I believe you should enable this feature in h.sie Patch v1.6.

Ahh.

Even before enabling the option, I should install H.sie.

I had a feeling I was missing something very simple. Thanks.

Just FYI, installing h.sie Patch v1.6. is no easy task. I have tried several times to no avail. Evidently there are certain installations of SH3 that are not compatible with this MOD. I've given up on it.

I purchased my version of SH3 from UBISOFT and h.sie Patch v1.6. rejects my installation attempts. Something to do with copy protection?

I'm not familiar with the Ubisoft purchase version of SH3. Is it patched to 1.4b and is it Starforce free ?
If no to either question, that is your H.sie patch problem.

It is patched to 1.4b, but I don't even know what Starforce is. How can I tell? And is there a way to remove it?

Starforce is anti-piracy/protection software. SH3 originally came with it and it can cause the game not to load/start in some cases.
But if your game is loading to the main menu ok it's not an issue.

There are several mods you have listed that shouldn't be used unless actually being used in the game.
- merged campaign. If you're not doing missions in the Indian Ocean, etc. not needed.
- Med. aircraft skins. Same.
- Late war sensors. Should only be applied in their relevant time frame; 1944 on.

None of them would be the cause of any H.sie patch problem as it uses the sh3.exe file and these mods don't affect that.
But they could cause in-game problems per above.

Thanks! I'll remove those next time in port, but they don't seem to be affecting the game. It's been totally stable and never crashes.
