At any rate, I prefer JGSME because there's much less a chance of corrupting your game files. It's easy and safe, I'd recommend it over the modder's instructions of installing it directly into your game.

I'm sorry for any discrepancies; this doc was saved because it was what I did + what the mod readmes told me to do. Good luck on whatever you choose to do! This game is a pain in the stern to mod but totally worth it.

I'm with you...I definitely prefer using JSGME. I'll let you know how it goes!

I'd also note to check every mod's readme as you go. They might have an extra step I missed. I don't think I did, but it's better to be safe!

Ladies and gents...I seem to have this working with GWX 3, ARB WideGUI using Duce de Zoop's install as a guide.
Thanks to all for the help.
I am, however, having some issues...

the speed dial not always working. I select a speed...but nothing happens.
The Allied destroyer and other ship (don't remember the type) killing each other during the final Academy test.
Some other issues with the game "locking up" temporarily.

I will start threads relating to these issues as I gather more info and I am not asking for help with these here...just that you look for future posts, if you have help to offer?

This post is to say...

Thank you!

Can't help with the others but the ships hitting each other is a Sh3 flaw.
