Icon7 Not Sure If This is Worthy of Mention

I've suspected for the last few weeks that when I experience an edit go south in CW, relaunching the game to check or recheck seemed as though the game was reading information from cache and not actually re-reading/loading the files I've made edits to.

I searched for a command line to clear windows cache and tried it.
Confirmed. CW was reading its files that were cached by windows. Now when I make (what I assume would be) a safe edit, CW responds accordingly and w/o issue.
As an example, I rename the class of the Han to Camille...and rename the vessel's names from Long March to various record hurricane titles eg SS Allison, SS Camille, SS Katrina....

for whats it worth to anyone experiencing this little snafu of windows, add a shortcut to your desktop while making edits to CW-

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks
