Gifting is more for kids, but the family getting together has always been magical.

I'm all sentimental, someone start a political thread, fast!

I agree with you. Being at peace with yourself and family is a gift within itself. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL FOR YOU ARE MY EXTENDED FAMILY.

10 days without power from that nasty girl Sandy., then losing it (again) 7 hours after getting it back, because a wet snowstorm borked things up. I feel ya, and am with ya.

It got windy the other night, and my buddy at work complained, I said "Just as long as I got power for Christmas day." All I thought of, was losing power again, for a week plus.

Sandy was a real witch. Too bad Hurricanes cannot be blamed or executed for their crimes against humanity.

It is amazing how much you miss it when you do not have it.

Several of the Founding Fathers fairly consistently used "Xtian" as a substitute for "Christian".
